I'm surprised Scottrade even let you buy pinks. It's been a long time since I checked them out, but back when I did, they wouldn't process orders for pinks. Maybe I didn't dig deep enough to see if there was a way to qualify like a platform with a monthly fee or something. It seems odd that they would stop you from placing a sell order "too far away from market". You should call them and ask why that is.
