Snakeclaw...talk to your broker...if you trust him...and see what you can do to thwart a naked short on a position you hold...most likely he/she will say what I have been saying.
If your position is on a sell order, the broker can not let out those shares since it is a pending order to be fulfilled. What really needs to happen is the SEC needs to shut down Naked Shorting...PERIOD ! Won't happen under this administration....
