i went to the meeting with the intention of getting a vibe

i went to the meeting with the intention of getting a vibe on this company and meeting the big players involved. i wanted to make sure this was a sound investment and that the boat was on the right course. in summary, i came away more excited about the company and more convinced that this is a home run investment. now that i've offered my summary, for those who want the longer version, read below.
i arrived over an hour early. i was the 5th car on the parking area in front of the pavilion. i expected more of a stuffy, air conditioned banquet room inside of a hotel than a giant open air pavilion....but it was a 75 degree day with a nice breeze. 30 or more tables with table clothes and a boot with flowers as a centerpiece made a nice presentation.
a wrapped RMH van from the local distributor was busying himself unloading cases of RMH into about 10 or 12 RMH wheeled coolers with and icing them down for the event. RMH staff was all wearing black shirts with the company logo and were easy to spot. I spoke with the distributor for a while and he keeps very busy selling the product. that was good.
Jerry came by and we talked for a while. He is a genuine guy, gives a strong hand shake, looks you right in the eye, and tells you exactly what he thinks. I like this guy a whole lot. We talked about the company for a while. our talking points:
-too much is being made about the audited financial report being delayed. it will come when the auditing firm is done. Jerry wants it done more than anyone as it will help him uplist and secure bank loans. Jerry says there are no surprises. It will contain exactly what was reported earlier in the June 30th report. it is very close. any day...though he admits he's been saying any day for many days.
-he has no idea why the stock surged in the last few days. he cant control it and he doesn't pay it too much attention....but he does hate the bashers and he wishes they would be jailed for the lies they say about him and his company.
-the eroding of the share price has effected his working capital. to keep the company going, more cash is needed. this will come from bank loans and possibly adding more shares. if the stock price goes up, this opens his options as it gives him more capital.
-his former company, republic of texas, went bankrupt. jerry explained that he could have closed the doors and shut it down but that would have screwed the share holders. instead, the only way to protect the share holders value was to file bankruptcy. by doing this, the shareholders of that company automatically became shareholders of thcz and thus preserves their investment interest. way cool!!
-Jerry wants to have a share holder meeting every year. He loves it and thinks its important to do this.
-I asked Jerry about the lack of PR's and if this was some type of strategy to withhold PR's. he said that after a while you dont have anything left to talk about. once you tell everyone what you are doing, you just run out of things to say. well, there you go. i know everyone is waiting for a PR or two every week to boost their portfolio (I know I am!!)....but the reality is that they just dont have something to pump twice a week.

I spoke with Todd Komely who is replacing Jason as the national sales director. Very nice guy. Jason is moving to head a new division of cannabinoid beverages and products that RMH will soon be offering. Jason is meeting, overseeing, and developing relationships with industrial hemp farmers in Colorado who will be creating the nations first and only cannabinoid crops and used exclusively for RMH products. It was stated at the meeting the CBD has tremendous health and medicinal benefits and uses. Pioneering into this area puts RMH into a market far beyond the scope of being an ordinary hemp infused beverage company.

The food portion of the event occurred and the bbq beef, cole slaw, potato salad, and peach cobbler all were great. Then the formal presentation occurred.
Jerry talked, though his jaw was still a bit stiff from oral surgery so he kept his speaking brief. Tom Schuman spoke next. He is a great speaker and outlined where the company is and where its going. I've never met Schuman but he seems to be a qualified and energetic guy. He comes across as that coach of a football team that you were willing to do what it takes to bring home a victory for this guy.
some of his talking points were:
-16 oz cans will now be replacing the current 12 oz cans at no extra cost
-the silver can with the logo will be now a white can with the logo.
-interest from walmart corporate in stocking RMH is there but we are waiting for the snowflake design
-snowflake order was delayed as 7up butted in line at the canning factory and pushed RMH's order back a few weeks
-2 oz energy shots are going to be available in several flavors as early as next month.
-the alcohol line was discussed and its a complicated and drawn out process. they are going down that path but this sounds like a horizon event.
-the CBD division of RMH is new and exciting and products from this division will be released as they are developed.
-the power point revealed 1.7 cans produced and 937,000 in sales. these were the same numbers previously published. i dont believe this includes the canadian order.
The speaker that stole the show was Tom from Rhino Marketing. If there was any doubt about the legitimacy of RMH, once Tom took the podium, those doubts were removed. Tom is a class act. He is intelligent, motivated, excited, and brings with him a tremendous amount of experience and a glowing resume. His hallmark client, Redbull, and his very close affiliation with Harry Drnc and Harry's role with the RMH puts RMH on the map big time. Schuman outlined Tom's excitement about RMH from the first day when Jerry and Tom walked into Rhino's office to get Rhino on board. Tom (Rhino president) expressed that 2 or 3 times in a lifetime will a product come through the door that they know will be a huge success. Redbull was the first one. RMH is the second one and with that Rhino was instantly on board.
Tom from Rhino expressed his willingness to put all of his efforts and resources behind RMH. Perhaps the statement that raised an eyebrow the most was when he said Rhino spends $50 million a month on advertising and marketing (i hope i heard that correctly). With that type of resources behind RMH there is little doubt where this company is headed. Tom (Rhino) also detailed how his company is targeting the 18 to 34 year audience for this product. His software allows Rhino to record key words on google search engines by all users to identify, locate, and target their demographic for RMH products.
The fourth speaker of the event was Rodney Peterson. He is the Canadian distributor. He outlined briefly who he was and what he is doing. He has been in sales and marketing in Canada with another brand of products (health care products??). His million can order has been placed and prepaid and he is awaiting his cans so he can bring the product to canada. His network up there is in place and ready for delivery.

The floor opened up for questions and answers; All questions were asked and all were answered to the fullest extent. There was no bombshells here. Perhaps the question that everyone wanted to know was sales projections...specific numbers....and Tom Schuman said that they do not have those numbers and he is not going to stand there and make it up. I felt that was a very honest answer.

The meeting adjourned and people slowly scattered. Two RMH wrapped vans showed up to help break down the remaining amount of RMH cans and coolers. I spend a bit of time talking with Rodney and his fellow canadian distributors. They have some very valuable information to offer me as a prospective distributor. They said do not throw away the cans of RMH. . these cans are band identity. mini-billboards. leave them in strategic places, such as in bathrooms of bars or restaurants. A crushed can of RMH was on the floor of the hotel that they were staying at. They stopped and paused and remarked that even a crushed can laying on the ground allows people to see the iconic hemp leaf logo as they walk by. i thought this was brilliant. im keeping my cans so i can do the same.
