It is my understanding that to do the merger correctly they must go through FINRA. To ask people to send screenshots of their accounts is not correct procedure and can lead to many problems as these can be doctored.
I don't plan on sending any screenshots of my account unless TDA advises me to do so and I will bet that they will not advise to do so.
