Well we already know from the 1st CC - which we can talk about - that Euan is working on developing the ability for the DSUS drones to land at a point and / or elevation other than where they took off from.
This is an important selling point for commercial / industrial applications such as pipeline or powerline inspections so that the purchaser does not have to change their current modus operandi of carrying out inspections.
Obviously, such a capability would be advantageous for military applications as well. Just one example might be the delivery of life saving first aid equipment on the battlefield and a casualty's battle buddies being able to get advice from a medical specialist at a remote location via a radio link and loudspeaker in the drone (see my earlier video about drone ambulances). Another might be urgent deliveries to a beleaguered outpost of ammunition magazines, radio batteries, water or MREs.
