There has to be some reason for the paid bashers to be going after the stock. Here are a few possibilities:
Their employers want to buy the stock cheap.
Their employers want to bankrupt the company, so they can buy the whole company out of bankruptcy court for less than pennies on the dollar.
Their employers are heavily invested in, or own, a rival company, and are trying to drive the competition into bankruptcy.
I'm sure you guys can come up with some more scenarios. But I agree, it's SO expensive to short a penny stock like this that shorters would most likely not be the factor here.
I suppose it's also possible that some group of high school kids are just having fun being trolls -- but then, how would they ever have discovered this stock among the zillions of penny stocks?
