I think Etrade is part of the 50 John Does listed in the COR lawsuit. That's why they keep saying they are holding accounts hostage pending the outcome of the case.
It's looking more likely that Etrade is a heavy handed short.
Maybe they pulled strings to cause the halt to protect themselves from a short squeeze that would have cost them millions.
