They would file an answer that answers all the allegations. Each one is answered with an "admit", "deny" or "Neither admit nor deny(due to lack of evidence)" then the court would set up the trial schedule telling everyone what is due and when. Witness lists, etc. I believe at this time the pre trial hearing will be scheduled. Usually the judge tries to get them to do mediation, it is cheaper and doesn't block up the court system.
