It could be the shorts are expecting this one to die off and they never have to cover. Or they remain calm and buy quietly so no one raises their prices to high.

I'm hoping we all get some sort of news next week on the merger and with that an offer to sell out before it goes private.

If we were merging into another company that traded on the US markets, we'd see a share exchange with new cusip number and all shares would be called in, that would force a squeeze, imo.

This merging into a private company in Mexico is an entirely new ball game to me.

Hopefully there is some sort of mechanism that forces shorts to pay.
