Depend on what ones time horizon is and who you are talking about.

For short term investors, you are absolutely right. They made the wrong bet.

For flippers that bought in short-term. Their bashing come back to bite them. They have to spend 24x7 a message boards trying to break even.

For long-term investors, this as about as de-risk as you get with the diversity of the portfolio.

For the company that is actually trying to help people suffering, it's a step forward.
