There is no way to enforce what some are suggesting. Even if they tried to force this on people you can bet that a huge legal battle from divi recipients would ensue. The cost of trying to get the money back would exceed the loss of the divi value in question.

This whole thing is a giant charade. The 800 lb gorillas finally got caught with their hands in the cookie jar and now they are stuck. So now they look for assistance from their friends at FINRA at the shareholding publics expense. Market disruption? Yes its disruptive to the market to flood the market with NSS that exceeds the OS many times over.
Who thinks they will pull a sympathetic judge out of their back pocket to screw the shareholders?
