Exactly! There is nothing wrong with saying that they have the product ready to be deployed and ready to go, but are currently verifying full functionality with IOS. That's really not all that hard. We don't need a PR about it, but heck, post something on your dang web page, have an "Updates" section and let us know what is going on. Freaking tell us!
There is one minor problem with that potential communication though, which just hit me as I was agreeing that was a perfectly valid reason. For most companies that would be great info and appreciated. However, I was suddenly reminded of the whole Google-needs-to-approve delay for the NP-1 which is somewhat similar, but the NP-1 went to the scrap pile for what they said was a lack of need, but I still feel that wasn't the whole story, and I doubt this is the whole story either. Was that even true? Who the heck knows at this point. I have my doubts that was true at this point, but we're never going to know.
Anyway, even with a somewhat sketchy past, repeatedly communicating like this and telling us what is happening would put us on a path to eventually trusting the things they are saying.
