No probably not, however, you can't compare those guys to this company. There should be MORE communication right now, not less. They should be working harder to let us know what is happening and where we are in the process, and when we have delays or things aren't happening, they shouldn't be ignoring it and sweeping it under the rug like it's not happening. All the promised dates and times and not once have they actually managed to follow through with any of their milestones with the exception of actually having the SHM on the proposed date.
I get that things change, but if they deployed the NP1 like they said they were going to and actually fit the promised timelines in, I imagine one of the two "this year's holiday season will be the big one" theories would have probably been accurate and it would have taken off. No need for any of the dilution that has been devaluing our investment...the investment of all of us. Roku seems to be doing just fine without NTEKs compression algorithm, so why did NTEK really not send them out? My guess is that they didn't exist in the quantities they were telling us they existed and the sales off the site weren't enough to actually help finance getting larger quantities that bigger distributors would require.
They are blatantly dishonest with us on a regular basis and have repeatedly been so. It doesn't mean that I don't think this has potential to take off...it may very well do so in spite of how they are running the company and treating its investors. I honestly hope they can pull it off, for my sake and for the sake of everyone else as well. Except for one or two people that are already making money flipping it back and forth whose board names we won't mention.
