An average of 15 mln new shares is dumped into the market every week, for months now. That makes about 3 mln each day, or between 25-30% of the average daily volume.
That should answer the questions as to who is selling shares at these "ridiculous prices", and why the SP isn't moving, even with a mega deal like Paramount.
At the current pace we have another six weeks to go to max out the A/S. So there could be some more weeks before we see any price movement while the new shares get absorbed.
