I was wondering how this might be accomplished! Patrick Byrne is well on the way to becoming my new super hero.
I was thinking that a new market competing with NASDAQ and the NYSE may be necessary to fix the naked short problem. I believe that a new market that required all sales to settle within that market so that they could eliminate naked shorting for the stocks on that market would be the preferred market for many if not most companies.
