Correct, those numbers are what the market makers are reporting to FINRA they marked as short sales. Those numbers do not include any T trades nor do they include any dark pool trades which are reported but reported one month after the fact. Wouldn't you think in this day and age with all the computer technology available shares trading electronically should have their location known immediately and accurately? Of course if that were available and followed there would be no such thing as abusive naked shorting. Go CTIX!!!
