why would you want precious resources (money. manpower ) going to a tech you can't leverage (get money back. roi ) for years?

besides the whole ecosystem (manufacturers. producers. distributors ) gotta make money on 4k first
we got about 10 solid years of 4k before 8k is on consumer-radar ( if then).for real
