HH, that has always been a pet peeve of mine. And frankly, I'm more productive if I can get my little internet fix here and there throughout the day. All employers frown on it though, even though they apparently have absolutely no problem with people taking 4 smoking breaks per day. Addiction discrimination, I tell ya!

Security is pretty rampant even in places that don't need it. And not because of security, but simply because they don't want us lackeys doing ANYTHING that could in any way be described as recreational. Though, to their credit, a lot of office people aren't that bright when it comes to what to click and what not to click. I've always joked that you will never find a workstation with more malware/adware on it than that of the office worker who shares unsolicited emails.
