Remember that AMBS realized that they were being killed by a huge naked shorting position in one of the German exchanges, which had never been authorized by them to list them -- and which refused to remove them. So they changed their name from Amarantus Life Sciences to Amarantus Life Science (singular) or vice versa, all stock was called in and issued under the new name. Boom! Their stock went way up as the naked shorts fled. But, of course, then they just attacked again as soon as the Germans listed it under the new name.
