I think DrP is referring to the FAA at the local Michigan Flight Service District Office.
That I know to be true.
The local office signed off and all the officials recommended that the test be considered a pass.
They were the ones who actually observed the entire test.
What we are now waiting for (and have been waiting for these last few days) is for Washington to finalize the decision.
It is extremely promising, but not guaranteed.
Keep those fingers crossed.
