I think what they'll do is let it go up some to get new buyers in, then they will do the 100 share "walking-down" of the stock again to below 2 (or they'll try, anyway) to try to scare them out, so they can cover.

I think that some of the shorts have already covered their short and bought at the lows, though. It was pretty dramatic yesterday -- they took it DOWN on good news briefly, to 1.70, and then up from there. I bought at 1.74, was annoyed when I saw them take it down, then was annoyed I hadn't bought even more when I realized that THAT was the bottom ! "
