Getting a DTCC chill lifted is not an easy task.. The first step in resolving any chill is finding out the reason for the chill. Unfortunately, DTCC is somewhat secretive about the reason for the chill. Once the reason is identified, the Company needs to be proactive in dealing with DTCC and its outside counsel. This proces can take several months.
