I would say stable above 2.50 is minimum level to think that most of the bear raid is over.
It seems clear to me that they are going to try to pound it at the close to try to discourage any new buyers.
I hope that as the day goes on, some become more concerned by the possibilities of disaster (for bears) and decide to cover their shorts.
Many retail investors will not see the article until tonight. I don't know if the ones who got burned by the shorts could possibly have the guts to decide to re-enter. However those who panicked at the headline and sold at a profit upon the news (which, sadly, turned out to be the correct strategy -- this is one of the few times I can think of that NOT understanding your investment was a good strategy) -- maybe those people will read the article tonight and decide to re-enter. IF, of course, they can overcome their feelings of being suckered.
The powerful influence of the desire NOT to be reminded of past mistakes can't be overestimated. How's THAT for a convoluted sentence? haha
