So far my new buy at 1.74 is in the green.
I think that the article completely demolished the scientific claims that Mako made.
The problem is that investors who panicked and sold will NEVER buy CTIX again. This is a secondary goal of shorters -- not only take money from people when they bring a stock down, but burn individual traders so that they don't even want to hear the name of the company again. This reduces the possible supply of buyers for the stock, making it easier for the shorters to keep pushing the stock down.
I had that experience on AVXL: bought some stock way too high, in the 3's. Was away on a trip, stock tanked. Held on, thinking that it would recover, but it kept going down into penny stock land. I held at a loss for years, feeling angry every time I looked at my account. THEN, I noticed that there seemed to be some activity in share price. I investigated, discovered that there was new management, that they were moving into clinical trials, and that the traders' pumper/dumper gangs were running it. Bought 10 times as many shares as my original purchase -- and now I am sitting on a big gain.
I very nearly did NOT buy that stock again. I think that most who were burned on CTIX will not buy again, because just seeing the name reminds them of their mistake. But, I think that as the truth of the incredible pipeline and incredible possibilities with this stock becomes know, we will get new buyers. Hopefully these will be more astute and will not let themselves be manipulated by criminals.
