I can only guess that the company is, in a sense, in dire straits. It has to up list if it wants to survive and raise money. Gerald's attempt to get the share price high enough to up list and his words that he didn't foresee the need to do a RS completely failed. People have to wake up to the fact that the worst possible scenario has mostly come true. Gerald might be safe because he and his father hand picked the board but Gerald has to get this up list done ASAP. Otherwise, I don't see how he keeps his job as CEO.
