It is considered likely that the FAA may mandate the use of strobe lights on drones - DSUS partner NASS has a patent for their LED strobe light which is ideal for drone use as it has a very small electrical drain requirement.
NASS also produce a hand-held personal locator for use in survival situations so that individuals can be spotted by searchers.
