These guys have never been through an audit before. The companies part of an audit (making records available) can be done long before the CPA feels ready to issue a report.
The companies are small and activity light, which would indicate that the audits would be quick; but there are issues like the separation of NTGL from NTEK that could cause an outside accountant to take extra time.
They may need more time. They may need time they didnt know the project needed.
