Notices . All notices and other communications required or permitted under to this Agreement must be in writing.......
this is typical boilerplate for many reasons including the problems of enforcing oral agreements and the practical side that each sides lawyers etc have to have knowledge of all agreements
and the vastly inferior processing of info orally-people only remember 7% of what they hear-and selectively hear what they want to hear-whereas they remember up to 25% of what they read and 50% of what they study,as generous as all those figures are
