I believe this suppression of stock price is manipulation, pure and simple. It is absolutely crazy for a stock with 3 drugs in human trials to be trading at this low market capitalization. When you look at things like AXON and so many small biotech's that do NOT have drugs in human trials trading so much higher, with so much less potential pay-off -- this is nuts.
I think the chances of approval for Brilacidin as an antibiotic are extremely high because of the good results and few safety concerns in the trials so far. Brilacidin for oral mucositis -- who knows? But trials should go pretty fast (by biotech standards). Kevetrin looks very promising, from the few anecdotes we've heard, and has that great safety profile, much better than anyone could have expected. Prurisol is an unknown, since so many drugs work great in rodents but not in humans. Blockbuster potential if it does work.
I think that down the road people will look at this time as being like the time when JAZZ was trading under a buck -- and then ran to 175 dollars. Except that CTIX actually has a MORE promising pipeline than JAZZ.
