Some people's egos on ihub are too big to admit they are wrong...the latest suggestion that a manufacture would impliment a red qd that isn't tolerable to high heat for a product is plain stupidity. ..perhaps the red in the LG model from CES 2015 which we still see no official launch for used a red phosphor as the red available at that time was not up to par.I hope QMC releases a 3rd party validaton of their QDX performance specs to put a sock in it.

High high heat tolerance is just one important characteristic besides band gap and fluorescence.The higher and the narrower the better.
