From my experience, and this is just my opinion, once a company becomes a certain size, they tend to rely less on innovation and more on acquisition. The old comparison between an aircraft carrier and a speed boat.
Companies get so big that the bureaucracy makes it so they just cant maneuver anymore, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing so to speak. It ends up being cheaper to buy "new and innovative solutions".
AT the worst, NTEK will be bought out by someone. My personal hope is that NTEK ends up being one of those big, non-maneuvering companies. There's is a lot more money to be made in that adventure....
