What industry insiders are saying is that Apple is holding back on concrete Apple TV announcements because it’s struggling to seal all the key content deals it wants for a new subscription Apple TV streaming service to take on the likes of Netflix and Amazon. What it increasingly appears is NOT causing the delay is any attempt by Apple to make its next Apple TV box compatible with 4K video. And so far as I’m concerned, this is a huge mistake
