500 A-list movies is a huge step for NTEK. I firmly believe that this is one of our biggest strengths. Most of our competition doesn't have the ability to do what we're doing (scanning/upconverting), they leave that to the studios. I know we talk about Netflix as being a big competition, but really as our current business stands our biggest competition is or will be Vudo, M-Go, Amazon, Google, Apple, DTV, Comcast, Redbox, UHD Blu Ray...perhaps others that I'm forgetting. Eventually all of these companies will grow to have most all new releases available in 4k, but how many of them can offer hundreds of classic a-list movies in 4k? With our short term success here, we likely will be able to compete and get access to most all new releases going forward. Thinking big picture, it's unlikely IMO that the consumer television market moves much beyond 8k, if 8k is even largely adopted. Physical media is on it's last leg, but will still be around for a while, but the great part about this is, good luck finding 500 A-list movies at Best Buy when UHD Blu-Ray is released. With Ultraflix's addition of purchasing titles, we are in a unique position to take a strangle hold on the future of home video revenue. The difficult part is many people are largely invested in some of our competition with libraries of movies on those platforms. Nonetheless, I like our chances.
