The number of shares on the ask are irrelevant for an illiquid stock like PTOI with a $0.006 spread. There could be a million shares are a a few thousand and it wouldn't mean anything. That fraction of a penny spread is like the Grand Canyon for a dead stock.
The most action we'll ever see for the remaining life of this stock is a few sub-$100.00 trades each day, punctuated every now and then by another investor dumping their few hundred thousand shares at market to ink their tax loss.
