Here's my theory, and it is based on absolutely NO knowledge (which means, by the standards of the other site, that it is highly reliable LOL): I suspect that our CEO was saving up a bunch of news on a couple of drugs (K and Bril) for a monumental press release that would skyrocket the share price by a huge percentage, like 20-25% -- this would bring CTIX to the attention of the media and get more eyes on it, plus being well above 3, it would be harder for the shorts to whack it down below the magic 3 level that we need for uplisting.

Surprise surprise -- the FDA posts the orphan drug designation on the website sooner than he expected -- so the news is out there for HOURS before the company issues a (perhaps hastily-written) press release.

I can't imagine that he would have just sat there without issuing the press release, had he known that the FDA was planning to post this today.
