No they can't. The status quo has already been set for 4K, it follows the same pattern as SD, and then HD. Not only is each window the same formula, each grant of right (say HD versus 4K) is treated as a separate right.

You're going down the completely wrong path here. Subscription was discussed long ago at UF. It's not a question of competition - I'd agree there is none. Competition or no competition, that's not what it's about at this point.

NTEK isn't fighting for the piece of the 4K pie from Netflix, Amazon, or anyone else. Everyone is early days on this. UF needs to be first a first mover in the space, specifically UHD only, and dominate that space.

I understand everyone is trying to figure out how to "unlock" the revenue potential of 4K, but it simply isn't in subscription at the moment.

Full disclosure, I not only work in the industry, I also hold restricted shares under Rule 144 granted by NTEK to me for consult, and I know both David and Aaron very well.

So I have to be general in what I say, but at the same time, this does allow me to state opinion. And whatever I write should be taken as such, granted, with many, many years in the space.
