$RIHT is battling file sharing and copyright infringement head on with a business model so simple it’s genius. In connection with over 150 internet service providers (ISP’s) RightsCorp fines those who participate in file sharing (theft of copyright material) $20 which is shared with the intellectual property owner. If the offender does not comply the ISP shuts their internet service off. That is the simplified version for easy understanding. This is much easier than trying to collect $250K from every one using bearshare, limewire or similar site to steal copyright material. So, next time you want to download that new Martin Scorsese movie that someone filmed inside a theatre think twice.
