He's apparently impressed by some clips, but not blown away. That Gymkhana clip is not really representative, as it is upscaled content.
However he did not show any movie clips, not even the previews.
I have the impression though that not much revenue will come from iMac users. As he states, paying $9.99 to view a movie on a 27 inch screen, even if it's a Retina 5K. I believe few people will do that.
Maybe the free content will be viewed and used to show off the 5K Retina.
