I believe most understand that the value would be the same! I believe the issue many have is that the value would not remain the same but that shortly after a split we would see a stock price drop. Here is what I mean - let's say a split at 1-10 at a price of say 1.00 ( just as an example ) and I have 1 million shares! After the split I have 100,000 shares at 10.00 I think we all agree! I believe where the fear resides is that this has been a penny stock for what 7-8 years now how can it all of a sudden support a 10.00 share value and the fear is that the stock price would not remain 10.00 but would go down and quickly! I don't believe that would happen and in fact usually just the opposite is true of a stock split but I think many fear this scenario and therefore their concern over a possible stock split!
