35 years ago I helped Gas to Liquids now Syntroleum, (NYSE), develop their natural gas to fuel prototype pyrolysis plant on one of my producing oil and gas leases in Oklahoma. Their most valuable proprietary asset was their patent pending catalytic process.
ARCO and Texaco, fought GTL and settled out of court admitting to possible criminal trespass and industrial espionage. Syntroleum has on shore and off shore processors globally, bringing stranded natural gas to market. ARCO and Texaco both huge players then, are vague memories now.
Sound familiar...even in the acronyms of pigeon portugeuse...enough said.
