This is just the nature of the beast. The head guys move around. He left and may or may not still own shares of Netflix. It sounds like he still has a good relationship with Netflix from what I have read. Netflix is part of an industry (streaming) that is trying and succeeding at taking market share away from the cable/sat industry. I don't think they care one bit that UltraFlix is gaining ground. I think it helps them because it causes more people to "cut the cord". People who move away from cable/sat will probably maintain several streaming providers. More competitors is probably good for Netflix.
