"This isn't necessarily true for those prospective customers that have their own plastic waste byproduct. For them, getting usable oil out is better than paying to dump the plastic. Surely even you can admit that."
My apologies--I saw your post yesterday but couldn't answer as IHang limited my posting.
I believe we're actually saying the same thing. Whatever goes into the processor needs to be converted into something of a higher value. If so, then the process is worth something. If not, it isn't. That would include taking something with a high disposal cost and turning it into something useful or at least into something which costs less to dispose.
If Mr. Heddle ever runs the process and shows what exactly went in and what exactly came out then there would be no more controversy surrounding PTOI.
And as I said, if Mr. Heddle ever ran the processor and showed he found any situation where the products coming out of the processor were worth more than the feedstock(s) which correspondingly went in then, barring more fraud like Mr. Bordynuik's $10/bbl cost $90/bb price fake claims, not only would the skeptics whom everyone hates be dispersed but you could then count me in to buy a few million shares at these prices and I'm completely serious about that.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
