that is a BS response. They do not physically get any shares. All e-trade shares and those of some of the other brokers are physically held by DTCC. They do not transfer them to e-trade. Rather they reconcile their books with E-trades.
This has already been accomplished from what I understand.
E-trade is playing games with our shares and our money folks!!
