I never considered it illegal just the geed of a few trying to get something for nothing. I suppose they have done the same may times and could care less about those less fortunate than themselves. Then again, that is probably why they are wealthy. IMO the best lesson learned from that attempt was the ability of the shareholders to unite and block the easy takeover the whales planned.
