Carl'sJr/Hardee's next hot burger eating commercial
If you are not familiar with Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s newest offering, “The Most American Thickburger,” check this sucker out. I’m having meat sweats just looking at the picture.
To promote this artery-clogging behemoth, the ad folks at the burger chain decided to to put together a commercial that bathes viewers in an all things ‘MERICA. Starring Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue bombshell Samantha Hoopes, the ad starts with a close-up of her nibbling chips off the giant burger. From there you can see each shot pan out to something bigger, and therefore more ‘MERICAN. The order of shots goes as follows: an American flag painted truck with a hot tub (Samantha included in said tub), on an aircraft carrier, in New York Harbor (with Lady Liberty overlooking, of course), with fighter jets flying over, all while fireworks are exploding in the background. WHEW!!
While this commercial is complete demographic bait,
I can’t help but to be drawn in by its flashy colors, and bold images.
