Designed to leverage the latest HEVC compression standards,
signed an agreement with Samsung Electronics America, Inc.
Under the agreement, the UltraFlix 4K streaming channel will be launched
NanoTech’s streaming 4K UHD software archives up to 50 percent better compression than with H.264; effectively delivering the same 4K Ultra HD quality at nearly half the bitrate.
“Samsung is the leader in TV technology, so we are excited to launch the UltraFlix streaming service on their complete family of UHD TVs,” said Aaron Taylor, NanoTech’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Samsung continues to set new standards in innovation and immersive viewing experiences and we look forward to partnering with them to deliver our entire 4K UHD library.”
