I have accounts with both Scottrade and Fidelity. When I told the broker at Scottrade that I was closing my account due to the .05% surcharge on penny stocks, he immediately coded my account. Now, I'm able to buy or sell any penny/sub penny stocks on Scottrade for just $7. If anyone has an account with them, ask them to code it, aka remove surcharge on penny stocks.
