Joe is still with us- I just talked with him, and he expects to be in the hospital another month. I was expecting a call back from his wife, but was thrilled to speak with the man himself. He doesn't have a lot of energy, so I didn't interrogate him. The important thing is that he is on the road to recovery, and when he is able to walk on his own, they will move him to a rehab facility. He is getting PT at this time.

He appreciates everyone's concern and thanks everyone for understanding his situation. The successful mini will make him feel a lot better.
