You got it!

You certainly can't buy even one share or the Therma-Med Corporation until someone sells it to you.  Just like you can't sell a share until someone buys it from you.  Pretty basic stuff.  Selling and buying, that's what makes us the money.

Try and look at it like this.  Ford doesn't tell you the number of cars that people bought last month.  They tell you the number of cars that they sold.  That's why they call it car sales.

It's a matter of words and it really doesn't matter if I call them sales and you call them buys, they're the same idea.  You can't have one without the other!
