There was some question about who gets the divvy..(Actually 2 Divvys) .cause the Record dates are 4-17 and 4-30.

But it doesn't matter what the freaking record dates are in this case....the record dates specify which SHARES get the divvy.....not WHO gets it. So anybody who buys will get the divvy....until they award them....and the Ex Date comes AFTER they award them.

In cases of a deferred ex-date, the only function of the record date is to determine on which shares the dividend is paid. Because of that -- and this is a critical point -- it is the ex-dividend date that determines who qualifies for the dividend, not the record date.
